Recipe Name Warwickshire Chocolate Biscuits

Traditional food from United Kingdom
Ingredients 3oz margarine
2 oz soft brown sugar
2 teaspoons cocoa
Pinch of salt
Vanilla essence
4oz self raising flour
1oz cornflakes, crushed
To decorate melted chocolate almonds optional
Preparation Cream together the margarine and the sugar then stir in the cocoa salt and vanilla essence.

Mix well.

Beat in gradually and alternately the self raising flour and the crushed cornflakes.

Knead well and shape into balls about the size of a walnut.

Place onto a lightly greased baking sheet and allow enough room for them to spread.

When they have cooled, ice with the melted chocolate and decorate with the almonds if liked.
