Recipe Name Oat Macaroons

Ingredients 100 grams / 4 oz of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups of rolled oats
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
Preparation Preheat the oven to 160°C, 320°F or gas mark 3.

Melt the butter in a large pot, add the sugar and egg and mix well.

Add the rolled oats, baking powder and vanilla and mix.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and spoon very small rounds of mixture onto the tray allowing plenty of room for the mixture to spread.

Bake for 15 minutes.

Let the biscuits cool before lifting off or slide the baking paper onto a cake rack to cool.
