Recipe Name Indian Sugar Biscuits
Difficulty Level Easy

Ingredients 3 cups butter (or lard)
2 cups sugar
4-5 cups flour
1/3 cup rose wine
1 egg cinnamon sugar
Preparation Cream the butter or lard and beat in the sugar.

Allow to rest 5 minutes, then cream again.

Beat in the egg and wine.

Mix in 4 cups of the flour, adding more until you have a mixture that can be rolled out.

Cut in to biscuit shapes (circles are traditional).

Pat cinnamon sugar onto the top side of each biscuit.

Bake on an ungreased tray or baking parchment at 325 F until lightly browned.
