Recipe Name Afghan Biscuits

Ingredients 225 g flour
75 g castor sugar
200 g butter
25 g cocoa powder
50 g cornflakes
chocolate icing (to decorate)
walnut halves (to decorate)
Preparation 1. Soften the butter with a wooden spoon or a few seconds in a microwave

2. Add the sugar and beat to a creamy texture

3. Add flour, cocoa and cornflakes. Mix well

4. Spoon the mixture in small lumps onto a greased tray and flatten slightly.

5. Bake for approximately 15 minutes at 180 C

6. Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack

7. When cold, add chocolate icing and a walnut half on top.
